Policies
This is a gender neutral, all-inclusive space, so the cost of your service will depend on the hair you have, not your identity. The price ranges listed reflect time, hair and style type, and scope of work. If you would like to be quoted a price, contact Alex with descriptions/pictures of your current hair and the desired look.
A 50% deposit from a valid credit card is required to book all appointments. The remainder will be charged at the time of your appointment. A 3% credit card fee applies, unless of course you pay cash. The deposit is non-refundable but transferable to another date, as long as you give 24 hours notice. Alex does not offer refunds on completed services, but will happily adjust haircuts within one week of your cut. An adjustment refines the discussed style; for a completely new look, a new appointment is needed.
CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING POLICY: Please reschedule or cancel at least 24 hours before the beginning of your appointment. Cancellations within 24 hours will result in a 50% charge of the service (or the deposit), unless the appointment becomes booked before the start time, in which case you’ll be fully refunded. Cancellations within 12 hours will result in a 100% charge of the service, unless the appointment becomes booked before it’s start time, in which case you’ll be fully refunded.
LATE POLICY: Please text (347) 464-1289 if you are running late! There is a 15 minute grace period past your scheduled appointment time. Beyond that point will result in a cancellation and 100% of the total cost of your appointment charged to the credit card on file. If you book a new time, you will need to pay a new deposit.
PAYMENT CHARGE CONSENT: By booking an appointment, you give consent for Alex to charge you via your given payment method for your appointment and/or cancellation fee.
